Answer incoming calls from clients or potential clients and answer their questions about the Flood Program. Explain to them what the program, what the program is for, and how the program worked.
Review all documents that clients will need to present to begin the application process.
Schedule clients for an appointment to come in and start the application process.
Meet with clients to review and complete the entire application process. Answer any other questions that they may have regarding the application process or the program in general.
When the applicants turn in receipts and estimates for their application, review the documents and calculate them to get a total for the total amount of compensation to request on their application.
Make copies of all document’s client.
Maintaining all applicant’s files and keeping them organized.
Communicate with the applicants on what they still need to complete their application and get it submitted to DHCD.
Communicate with insurance companies about the documents that are needed for the application for an individual.
Send in request for Title Report Request to the attorney for each file. Communicate with the attorney regarding anything else they may need to complete any of the requests.
Collect all invoices that need to be paid for the program and create a check for them and send them out to be paid. Keep records of all the invoices that have been paid with a copy of the check.
Process checks for applicants, when we receive an approval letter and get them signed. Distribute the checks to the applicants when they come in and sign their releases. Keep a copy of the check, approval letter, and all check registers.
Keep a ledger of the total amount that has been paid out to recipients and in admin expenses.
Communicate with my Supervisor and Director effectively.
Gather all information from applicants and see if they meet the qualifications for the program they are applying for.
